The game will be played in Lyon, with kick-off at 8pm BST. A crowd of close to the Stade de Lyon’s tournament capacity of 57,900 is expected.
Speaking ahead of the mouth-watering clash, England manager Phil Neville believes his team are ready to make history against a side he has researched extensively since taking over as Lionesses boss in January 2018.
“We’ve planned for it, we’ve played against them and we know how we’re going to play,” Neville said.
“When it was France or USA in the semi-final every one of my players said: ‘Let’s hope it’s USA.’
“When I got the job, the first three games I looked at were the USA. I was sitting in my house in Valencia and watched three games in one afternoon because I thought: ‘How can we win the World Cup?’
“You have to beat the best, and the USA are the best. They’ve proven it.
“But we’re ready for them. Sometimes, before these games, you can have fear and trepidation - but I can smell nothing but freedom, happiness and excitement.”

Former USA star Hope Solo has told BBC Sport she believes City striker Ellen White could be key for the Lionesses.
Solo, who earned more than 200 caps for the USA and was part of the side that won the 2015 World Cup, says White is an intelligent forward who finds space in dangerous areas.
“Meanwhile, at the other end of the field, can White can get in between Abby Dahlkemper and Becky Sauerbrunn? I think she can,” Solo writes in her BBC Sport column.
“Ellen is a smart attacker who likes to play in-between the two centre-backs and sneak off their shoulders.
“The Manchester City striker has been scoring fantastic goals against great opponents - not just the weaker teams - throughout this tournament, so she’s deserving of the Golden Boot.
