Against Liverpool, she has bagged an impressive 11 goals – six in sky blue; five in royal blue – and admits her Everton roots spur her on against the Reds, even now.

“With a big tournament coming up, you want to produce your best performance in games for your Club, so you have the best chance of being selected for your country, as well as helping your Club to achieve success.
“I believe that if you do it now, you’ll do it then.
“It’s just a great time for everyone.”
