The England international will step out at the Academy Stadium to make her 100th appearance for the club as Nick Cushing’s side resume FA Women’s Super League action against the Hammers.
Fittingly, Stanway’s landmark comes during the FA’s high-profile Women’s Weekend Initiative, which is designed to encourage football fans to attend a women’s game at any level of the pyramid across this weekend.
The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the shining lights of the women’s game since making her City bow in back in 2015 as a 16-year-old
Since then she has played her part in guiding City to the FA Women’s Super League title in 2016 as well as two FA Cup and two Continental Cup triumphs.
The Barrow-in-Furness born striker was also voted the Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year last season.

To date, Stanway has netted 37 goals from her 99 appearances for the Club across all competitions
On the international front, Stanway shone with England through the age ranks, helping the Young Lionesses reach the quarter finals of the U17s World Cup in 2016 before starring for the U20s as they won bronze in France in 2018.
Georgia made her Lionesses bow in November 2018, scoring against Austria and she was the youngest outfield member of Phil Neville’s squad which finished fourth at the 2019 World Cup.
She has won 15 caps to date, scoring two goals.
