The 18-year-old midfielder says that she intends to make the most of her move from Sion Swifts and just wants to work hard in training and take her opportunities when they come along.
“I’m really enjoying it – the girls have been great and very welcoming, helping me both on and off the pitch which is a really big thing when you come into a new team,” said Toland.
“Coming from a local team in Northern Ireland to a club like Manchester City is a bit surreal, but I love the challenge.

“It’s been a great first couple of months. We had seven matches in September, and we won them all. The manager has tried to rotate and use as many players as possible.
“I’m going to work as hard as I can in training and if game time comes along, I’m going to give my all to help the team and try to win trophies.”
Fellow teen Jess Park says the World Cup bounce has been noticeable this season.
The Lionesses were knocked out in the semi-finals by the USA in France during the summer, but the positive effects have been felt in the early weeks of the FA Women’s Super League campaign, including the 31,000-plus crowd that saw City beat United in early September.
“It’s more competitive, for sure and we’ve noticed better atmospheres and bigger crowds whenever we’ve played which is good for the game,” said Park.
“We just want to build on the start we’ve made and keep everything going.
“When we play, we all need to work hard and do the best we can, impact the game and by using the depth of the squad we have, we can keep things fresh and focused.
“We’re hoping for another good crowd against Birmingham City on Sunday and to just keep our winning run going.”
