PREVIOUS MEETING
City lost for the first time at the Etihad Stadium in 2022/23 when a dramatic injury-time strike handed Brentford victory.
Ivan Toney gave the visitors the lead, before Phil Foden’s stinging volley levelled the score on the cusp of half-time.
We pushed for a winner in the second half, but it was Thomas Frank’s side who would find the game’s third goal with Toney tapping home in stoppage time.

LAST TIME OUT
We extended our unbeaten run in all competitions to 25 matches with a 1-1 draw away to Brighton on Wednesday evening.
Phil Foden’s 15th goal of the season arrived in the 25th minute to put City ahead, when he tapped in Erling Haaland’s square pass after the striker had broken free.
But an unstoppable wonder-strike from Julio Enciso pulled the Seagulls level before half-time.
Meanwhile, Brentford secured a stunning 3-1 victory away to Tottenham Hotspur in their last outing, with Bryan Mbeumo scoring twice and assisting Yoan Wissa’s effort.
