After more than three weeks of compelling action across the continent which has produced no shortage of drama and excitement, four nations remain in the hunt to lift the prized Henri Delaunay Trophy.
Spain will tackle Italy in Tuesday’s first semi-final before England then lock horns with Denmark 24 hours later with both matches – along with next Sunday’s final – being staged at Wembley.
Here we take a closer look at the two showpieces occasions – and the City players seeking to help their country be crowned European champions.
SPAIN v ITALY
Tuesday’s first semi-final is an intriguing match-up between two of the continent’s traditional powerhouses.
Spain’s route to the last four has been aided by a series of impressive displays from their City contingent.
Aymeric Laporte and Ferran Torres both started – and scored - in La Roja’s thrilling 5-3 last-16 win after extra time over Croatia, as well as impressing last Friday’s tense quarter-final penalty shoot-out triumph following a 1-1 draw against Switzerland.
Meanwhile, City team-mate Rodrigo and former Etihad colleague Eric Garcia – who has now joined Barcelona – have also played their part in helping steer Luis Enrique’s side to withing touching distance of the final.
Standing in the way of the 2008 and 2012 European champions are Italy who have impressed many with the manner of the classy performances so far across the tournament.

And the Azurri also boast strong City connections with former Etihad manager Roberto Mancini, who famously inspired us to our unforgettable maiden Premier League title success in 2012, now in charge of the Italian national side.
After a perfect haul of three wins from three in the groups stages, Mancini has overseen impressive knockout victories over Austria and Belgium respectively with Italy now unbeaten in the last 32 matches
So the scene is set for what promises to be a tense and intriguing first semi-final.
The match kicks off at 20:00 (UK) on Tuesday 6 July and is available to watch live on BBC in the UK.

And, once again, there will be huge City interest in what will be the biggest international match this country has seen since England’s Euro ‘96 semi-final against Germany 25 years ago.
John Stones, Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden have all played a major role in helping navigate Gareth Southgate’s squad into the last four.
Sterling has been arguably the Three Lions’ man of the tournament so far, contributing three goals and an assist and being a key attacking weapon.
Stones and Walker meanwhile have transferred their superb defensive work from club to country and helped England keep a clean sheet in all five of their games to date.
And though Foden has not featured in the past three games after impressing against Croatia and Scotland in the group stages, the 21-year-old could well yet have a big part to play.
Standing in England’s way are a Denmark side who have responded magnificently following the frightening health scare suffered by talisman Christian Eriksen in their opening group game.
Having lost their opening two group games, the Danes – who feature former City Academy star Kasper Schmeichel in goal - have since recorded fine wins against Russia, Wales and the Czech Republic to move to within two games of repeating their 1992 European Championship success.
The match kicks off at 20:00 (UK) on Wednesday 7 July and is available to watch live on ITV in the UK.
