OPPOSING MANAGER - KARL ROBINSON
Robinson was appointed Salford manager in January 2024 after notable spells in charge at Charlton Athletic, Milton Keynes Dons and Oxford United.
With the Dons, Robinson won automatic promotion to the Championship and twice reached the League One play-offs.
He also achieved a number of club records in his first full season in charge of Salford, including the club’s longest winning run in the Football League (6 games in December 2024 to January 2025).
Robinson has been in the limelight recently, receiving back-to-back League Two Manager of the Month nominations for December 2025 and January 2026 after guiding his side to four wins from five league games in the new year, and passing 800 games as a coach.

DANGERMEN
The obvious threat for Salford comes from attacking duo Ryan Graydon and Daniel Udoh.
Graydon has nine goals and five assists this season and Udoh is not far behind, claiming seven goals and six assists this term.
Full-back Luke Garbutt, who has had spells with Everton and Ipswich Town, is also one to keep an eye on due to his immaculate set-piece deliveries.
In fact, Garbutt was a huge reason why Salford are even making the trip to the Etihad for the second time in two seasons, after his superb free-kick secured a 3-2 third round victory over Swindon Town and thus making history, as the club qualified for the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time ever.

PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW
Pep Guardiola will be facing the media at his pre-match press conference from 12:30 (UK) on Friday 13 February where the City boss will provide all the latest team news updates and you can follow it live on mancity.com and our official app.
Don’t worry if you are unable to watch Pep’s press conference as it happens as we’ll have a written review and video recap soon after it has concluded.
PREVIOUS MEETING
Our last and only previous encounter came in the third round of last year’s FA Cup, where we cruised to an 8-0 victory at the Etihad.
James McAtee hit a hat-trick, Jeremy Doku struck a double, starlets Divin Mubama got his debut goal for City and Nico O’Reilly and Jack Grealish added their name to the scoresheet, the latter firing home his first of the season.
LAST TIME OUT
We cruised into the fourth round with a 10-1 victory over Exeter City. It was a historic day at the Etihad Stadium as we hit double figures for the first time in nearly four decades.
Max Alleyne, making his second appearance, put us ahead from close range in the opening minutes. Rodri hit a superb second before two own goals gave us a 4-0 advantage at half-time.
There were seven more goals in the second half with Rico Lewis (two), Semenyo, Tijjani Reijnders, Nico O’Reilly and Ryan McAidoo all hitting the net.
