It’s been another standout season for Ederson, who retained the Premier League Golden Glove, awarded to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets at the end of each campaign.

His 19 shutouts in 36 matches meant the Brazilian became the first player to claim the prize in successive seasons since former City man Joe Hart did so in 2013/14 and 2014/15 respectively.

Across 48 matches in all competitions, the 27-year-old kept an astounding 26 clean sheets.

But his work is far from over this season, as he looks to help Brazil retain their Copa America crown as hosts of this summer’s tournament.
