And our scout has revealed his tips on how to make the most of the free transfers on offer to managers.
It was certainly an eventful first half of the FPL season, with Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Joao Cancelo among the highest scoring players from August to November.
This saw a huge number of teams across the game have a City-centric feel to them, with 82.9 percent selecting the Norwegian striker.
And managers will be hoping for more of the same in December when aiming to maximise their points with what is effectively another wildcard.
So what advice is the scout offering?

CITY TRIO
A triple-up on City’s key players will be a popular tactic when 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League resumes on Monday 26 December.
Haaland’s (£12.2m) prolific start to the campaign makes him a must-have, with the Norwegian owned by almost 83% of 11 million managers in Fantasy.
He has stormed his way to the top of the player standings, scoring 18 goals and supplying three assists in only 13 outings.
Cancelo’s (£7.4m) multiple routes to returns have already tempted over 54.5% to acquire the full-back.
His appeal is only likely to rise as City could have two Double Gameweeks in their upcoming schedule.
Pep Guardiola’s side play twice in Gameweek 23 and could also have two matches in Gameweek 20, depending on FA Cup results.
MAKING TRANSFERS COUNT
As managers are limited to a quota of three players per club in Fantasy, selecting either De Bruyne (£12.6m) or Phil Foden (£8.3m) as the final Man City pick can pay off.
De Bruyne’s secure role has helped him into second place among midfielders on 90 points but Foden can offer huge value as he is £4.3m less expensive than the Belgian.
Furthermore, Julian Alvarez’s (£6.0m) impact at the FIFA World Cup for Argentina could also force a re-think of Man City assets when he returns to domestic action.
DIFFERENTIAL
Elsewhere, Eddie Nketiah (£6.5m) could prove a handy differential for the season restart.
The English striker is expected to lead the line for Arsenal as a result of Gabriel Jesus’ (£8.0m) spell on the sidelines through injury.
