Learn who the scout is backing to dictate Fantasy Premier League proceedings this weekend as City travel to Crystal Palace…

Pep Guardiola’s side visit Selhurst Park on Saturday 11 March, kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK), buoyed by consecutive victories in our past three matches in all competitions.

Following away wins over Bournemouth (4-1) and Bristol City in the FA Cup (3-0) – we produced a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Newcastle in our previous league outing.

A magical Phil Foden solo-goal followed by Bernardo Silva’s expertly taken poked effort in the second half secured the points, as we consigned Eddie Howe’s side to only their third league defeat of the season.

But up against a well-oiled Eagles machine under Patrick Vieira, City are expecting a tough encounter in the capital.

The south Londoners are unbeaten in their past four home fixtures and remain 12th in the Premier League table – five points and six places off the relegation zone.

And our trip to the Palace is gearing up to be an exciting affair following our epic comeback in the reverse fixture in August 2022.

The visitors at the Etihad Stadium raced into a two-goal lead before half-time – handing them a strong advantage at the interval.

However, an Erling Haaland hat-trick alongside a Silva strike saw us overturn the deficit and seal three points.

And there are plenty of decision FPL managers need to make ahead of Saturday 11 March’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

Learn who the scout is supporting this weekend below…

CITY STAR

Jack Grealish’s (£6.8m) form on the road can help City take three points away from Crystal Palace in Gameweek 27 of Fantasy Premier League.

The winger has delivered attacking returns in five of our seven away matches since the season resumed.

He has amassed 36 points in that run, scoring twice and supplying four assists.

The underlying statistics highlight Grealish’s all-round influence on Guardiola’s attack.

Away from home, his 12 shots inside the box rank third among team-mates, while his 18 chances created place joint-second, level with Phil Foden (£8.0m) and Ilkay Gundogan (£7.3m).

ONE TO WATCH

For the hosts, Michael Olise (£5.4m) is a man in form – he has created 21 chances since the season resumed in December after the World Cup, more than twice the total of any team-mate.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, James Ward-Prowse (£6.3m) and Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo (£5.8m) each have a Double Gameweek 27 to thrive as differentials.

Ward-Prowse has been involved in six of Southampton’s last eight goals, scoring five and assisting one.

Mbeumo has recorded both of his best scores this season in his previous seven outings, producing three goals and two assists over that run.

Both are owned by under seven per cent of managers ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 GMT deadline.
