Pep Guardiola’s side visit Goodison Park on Sunday 14 May, kick off scheduled for 14:00 (UK), on the back of a 21-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
In our previous league assignment, we produced a professional display to beat Leeds 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium before travelling to Real Madrid for our UEFA Champions League first-leg semi-final appointment.
Vinicius Junior handed Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the Spanish capital, before Kevin De Buryne’s phenomenal fizzing effort earned us a 1-1 draw heading into the decisive second leg in Manchester.
However, we’ll have to be our best against a resurgent Toffees if we are to extend our lead at the league’s summit with three points.
Sean Dyche’s side strengthened their survival hopes last time out with a fantastic 5-1 victory over Brighton at the AMEX Stadium – leaving them in 17th position in the table on 32 points.

In the reverse fixture in December, the sides played out a 1-1 draw with Demarai Gray’s unstoppable effort from range cancelled out Erling Haaland’s opener.
And there are a number of decisions FPL managers need to make ahead of Saturday 13 May’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR
A rested Riyad Mahrez (£7.3m) has the form to deliver more attacking returns in Gameweek 36 of Fantasy Premier League.
The Algerian was an unused substitute in City’s UEFA Champions League first-leg semi-final clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday evening.
That suggests he could earn a start when the league leaders visit Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Notably, Mahrez has stepped up his output in domestic matches recently.
He has delivered attacking returns in each of Guardiola‘s side’s previous three, supplying a total of four assists to collect 21 points.
The underlying numbers also highlight the Algerian’s influence.
Mahrez has created 10 chances in his last four outings, second only to the 16 of Kevin De Bruyne (£12.2m) among team-mates.
Everton, meanwhile, have struggled in defence in recent home matches.
They have conceded at least three goals in each of their previous two against Fulham and Newcastle United.
ONE TO WATCH
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.9m) is the hosts’ main threat at Goodison Park, with a goal and an assist across the last two matches.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, Newcastle’s Joe Willock (£4.7m) and Brighton & Hove Albion’s Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) both have a Double Gameweek 36 to thrive as differentials.
Willock’s 12 shots and nine chances created rank among the Magpies’ top two players in the last four matches ahead of clashes with Leeds united and Brighton.
Mac Allister faces Arsenal and Newcastle on the back of goals in each of his last two outings.
