The visitors took the lead through Mohamed Salah early on, but we hit back instantly as Grealish put the ball on a plate for Julian Alvarez to finish.
Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan found the net to put us in a commanding position after the interval, before Grealish rounded off a splendid performance with an accurate finish beyond Alisson.
Grealish, who was named as the Player of the Match after an electric display on the flank, was delighted after securing the three points.
“Brilliant. We knew it would be a tough game playing against Liverpool,” he said.
“The first game after the break is always difficult. We wanted to start this last period of the season right. I thought we started the game well, and Liverpool are so dangerous with the players they have up front.
“So we went one goal down, then you fear the worst and think it’ll be a tough game to get back into. But I thought we responded brilliantly. I thought we were excellent, especially in the second half.
“We had a chat with ourselves at half-time and the manager and he said we have to stay in the game. I thought we were good in the first half apart from the goal.
“I was in the toilet and I felt sick all morning. I was buzzing in the end - I feel alright now!
“I love it, man. I love football, I love playing, I love training. When it’s going well like this there’s nothing better.
“I feel back to my normal self, I’m playing with confidence, I feel fit. Scoring today and getting the assist is perfect.”
The 4-1 victory over the Reds sees boss Pep Guardiola become the quickest manager in Premier League history to reach 100 home wins and also saw Riyad Mahrez become the all-time assist leader from African players after he set up De Bruyne‘s goal.
The win also now means we have six wins from our last seven league fixtures, with the team finding a good run of form at the right time in our relentless pursuit of league-leaders Arsenal.

Grealish believes that we need to continue in this manner if we are to have any hopes of lifting the trophy in May.
“They’re a great team and It’s in their hands the moment,” he said.
“We’re going to do everything we can to chase them. We just have to keep winning games.”
