The 20-year-old defender will spend the 2023/24 campaign with the French side who finished 11th in Ligue 1 last term.
After progressing through our Academy system, the versatile left-back made his senior City debut in our 6-1 Carabao Cup third round triumph over Wycombe in September 2021.
He then subsequently featured in our UEFA Champions League group home victories over Sevilla and Copenhagen last season.
The move to the Stade Auguste Delaune follows Wilson-Esbrand’s stint on loan in the second half of last term with Championship side Coventry City
Wilson-Esbrand helped the Sky Blues reach the Championship Play-Off final with Josh making 14 appearances in total for Mark Robins’ team.
