With three Carabao Cup victories, two Community Shield triumphs – along with two Women’s FA Cup triumphs, there were no shortage of contenders… but one Wembley win stood out from the rest: last season’s remarkable 6-0 FA Cup final victory over Watford.

It proved to be a May day to remember…

The victory saw City become the first men’s side to win every single major English honour in a single season.

50 years after our famous FA Cup triumph under Joe Mercer, Pep Guardiola’s class of 2019 showed their quality to go down in the history books.

What’s more, the result was the joint-biggest winning margin in an FA Cup final, equalling Bury’s 6-0 triumph over Derby in 1903.

Ironically, it was the Hornets who enjoyed the first clear-cut chance, City keeper Ederson producing a superb save to deny Ricardo Pererya after he was through clear on goal.

City though seized control with David Silva breaking the deadlock by lashing home on 26 minutes before Gabriel Jesus doubled our advantage just before the break.

The introduction of Kevin De Bruyne from the bench then put City in complete control, with the Belgian midfielder adding our third shortly after coming on.
