Sergio Aguero returns to the City starting line up for today’s resumption of Premier League action at home to Arsenal for what will be his first appearance in almost four months.

Our all-time record scorer, who has been out with a knee injury since mid-June, is back as one of four changes made by manager Pep Guardiola from the side that drew 1-1 at Leeds a fortnight ago.

Alongside Kun, Joao Cancelo, Nathan Ake and Bernardo Silva also come into the starting line-up.

As confirmed by the manager in his pre-match press conference, both Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus are sidelined through injury.

French defensive duo Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy are also ruled out of selection for the visit of the Gunners through injury.

We haven’t gone three league matches without a win since a run of four in April 2017.

Manchester City have earned 25 points from our past 10 home league games against other established top-six teams, only losing to Manchester United in December 2019.
