Opposing manager - keith andrews

The Irishman began his playing career at Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving on to play for Hull City, Milton Keynes Dons, Oxford United, Stoke City and Walsall.

Following the end of his playing career, Andrews became assistant manager to MK Dons head coach Karl Robinson, departing the club at the end of the 2015/16 season.

He later worked as assistant to Stephen Kenny for both the Under-21 and Senior Republic of Ireland national team until Kenny’s departure in November 2023.

He joined the backroom staff at Sheffield United in December 2023 under Chris Wilder, before leaving at the end of the season when he was appointed set piece coach at Brentford.

Andrews was appointed as Brentford’s head coach in June 2025, replacing long-serving manager Thomas Frank.

A name that fans will be no stranger to hearing is Jordan Henderson. The defender scored the opener against Leeds and currently leads the way for assists with a total of three for Brentford.

Igor Thiago is top of the Bees table for goals scored with a total of 12 so far this season, five of those have come from the penalty spot.

Mikel Damsgaard and Kevin Schade will likely step in to fill the creative void of record signing Dango Ouattara who has left to represent Burkina Faso at the Africa Cup of Nations.

We last faced the Bees in October with a hard fought 1-0 victory at the Gtech as Pep Guardiola racked up his 250th Premier League win.

Erling Haaland’s ninth-minute effort was the only goal of the game in west London.

It meant our boss reached the significant milestone in just 349 outings - 55 games quicker than previous best Alex Ferguson.

Last time out

We travelled to the Capital to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

A brace from Erling Haaland and a fine strike from Phil Foden helped City to a crucial 3-0 win and moved to within two points of Premier League leaders Arsenal.

It proved a tough and demanding test, but a towering 41st minute header from Haaland broke the first half deadlock.

Which was followed up by a brilliant 69th minute strike from Foden to double the advantage.

Finished up with an 88th minute Haaland penalty - awarded after substitute Savinho had been brought down - to seal our fourth straight league win.
