Manchester City will play host to Exeter City in the third round of the FA Cup.

We will take on the League One side at the Etihad around the weekend of Saturday 10 January 2026, with the precise date and kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.

The Grecians currently lie 20th in League One and join the third round of the FA Cup following an impressive 4-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers.

City were one of 44 teams from the Premier League and EFL Championship joining the competition at this stage, alongside 20 victorious sides from the second round.

The club boasts a proud FA Cup record, having won the famous trophy seven times in total.

Our most recent success came in 2023 as we recorded the historic Treble of Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup triumphs. We’ve also reached the final in each of the last two campaigns.

Keep an eye on mancity.com and the official Manchester City app where we will bring you all the dates and times as soon as they are confirmed.
