Find out who the Scout is backing to influence Fantasy Premier League proceedings as City host Leicester.

Pep Guardiola’s side welcome the Foxes to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 15 April, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK), following our phenomenal 3-0 UEFA Champions League last-eight first leg victory over Bayern Munich.

A first-half Rodrigo rocket set the tone for a fantastic night in European competition, before further goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland secured the success.

In our previous league assignment, goals from Haaland (two), Jack Grealish and Julian Alvarez helped us record a comfortable 4-1 win at St Mary’s Stadium.

However, in Dean Smith’s first match at the Leicester helm, gaining three points is far from a formality.

The East Midlands side appointed the former Aston Villa and Norwich boss until the end of the season in a bid to boost their survival hopes following the departure of Brendan Rodgers.

In the reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium, Kevin De Buryne’s sublime free-kick was the difference between the two sides as we recorded a 1-0 victory in October 2022.

And there are plenty of decisions FPL managers need to make ahead of Saturday 15 April’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR

A home clash with Leicester City looks very promising for Riyad Mahrez’s (£7.3m) prospects in Gameweek 31 of Fantasy Premier League.

With the Algerian’s recent hot form in front of goal, he may look to take advantage of his visitors’  recent defensive woes.

Leicester have conceded an average of four goals per match in visits to the current top seven sides this season.

Mahrez, meanwhile, has a prolific record against his former club.

He has scored in all three of his home meetings with the Foxes, averaging 10 points per match.

Harvey Barnes (£6.7m) is the visitors’ dangerman, having scored his career-high 10 goals in Fantasy this season.

DIFFERENTIALS

Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Pedro Porro (£4.8m) and Crystal Palace playmaker Michael Olise (£5.5m) can prove low-owned gems for Gameweek 31.

Porro’s 11 shots, six in the box, and nine chances created all rank second in Spurs’ last five matches ahead of their home encounter with Bournemouth.

Olise visits Southampton on the back of his season-high haul of 14 points against Leeds last weekend, supplying three assists in the 5-1 win.
