The London Stadium has proven a happy hunting ground for Pep Guardiola’s side, who head there on Saturday looking to maintain our 100% record in the venue which staged the 2012 Olympic games.

West Ham’s move to the stadium in the summer of 2016 coincided with Guardiola’s arrival at City and in the seasons since, our trips to Stratford have provided plenty for us to cheer.
We go into this weekend’s clash having won on each of our five visits there, but it is the emphatic nature of our victories which have been so impressive.
Quite simply, it has been goals galore for us at the London Stadium, where the aggregate score over the five games is 22-1 in our favour.
It began in January 2017.
Guardiola won his first FA Cup game with a 5-0 a masterclass in the third round, when John Stones netted his first goal for the Club.
A month later we faced the Hammers again, only this time we were marginally less prolific, winning 4-0 in the league as Gabriel Jesus scored two goals to get off the mark in City colours.
The following year we travelled to the London Stadium as Premier League champions and delivered a performance worthy of the title to win 4-1.
We clocked up 100 league goals for the season in the process, with City legend Pablo Zabaleta scoring an own goal to bring up our century.
It was a similar story in November 2018, when Guardiola’s side recorded a 4-0 win, though the manager admitted it was a far from vintage performance.
“We were quite lucky but we will come back to our best,” he said after Leroy Sane’s brace, plus strikes from Raheem Sterling and David Silva sealed the three points at the expense of former City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
And our most recent visit to the 60,000 capacity stadium saw us deliver a five-star display on the opening day of the 2019/20 campaign.
Sterling was the star of the show, hitting a hat-trick in a game in which VAR played a significant role, with Jesus and Sergio Aguero also on target as Rodrigo made his debut.
Sterling in particularly, is a player who has thrived in the city he grew up in.
The 25-year-old has scored four goals – more than any other player – in meetings between the two teams at the London Stadium, and his remarkable form has also seen him provide six assists.
After the recent win over Arsenal, Guardiola said it was important for his players to get into a winning routine.
With two victories under our belt following the international break, we now head to a stadium where we are very much in the habit winning.
