PREVIOUS MEETING

It’s been less than a month since our last encounter with Spurs.

We travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for our Round of 16 Carabao Cup clash with the London side.

We exited the competition courtesy of a 2-1 defeat.

Timo Werner gave Spurs an early lead before Pape Sarr doubled the host’s advantage.

Matheus Nunes scored a consolation in added time of the first half but City couldn’t find a second as Spurs advanced to the quarter-finals.

LAST TIME OUT

At the start of the month, the Amex Stadium played host to a tough encounter with Brighton.

Erling Haaland put City ahead on 23 minutes after a dominant display in the first half.

But late goals from Joao Perdo and Matt O’Riley saw the Seagulls snatch the three points.
