When it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net, he says the very best players are open to improvising when needed, but also gave his teammates credit for their part in the equaliser.
“Yeah, it was amazing play from the guys,” the Brazilian reflected on the build-up to the goal.
“When we play like this we have more chances. Kevin (De Bruyne) can control the ball and find me in the box, (and) I controlled and finished”.
“All the time like this, I have to try (new things), the attackers have to try things, and I scored the goal”.

Although Jesus was pleased with his piece of individual brilliance, he says he would have much preferred taking home all three points against Liverpool.
While the forward is well aware that a Premier League season is a marathon rather than a sprint, he feels it was a case of two points dropped rather than one gained in our quest to reclaim the title.
He said: “We have to win all the games we play here (at the Etihad).
“We have to control more, play more, attack like we have in the past and try to score our chances.
“The result is maybe not good for us but good for them (Liverpool), but we have to keep fighting to the end because there are a lot of games to play.
“We know they work hard and have a lot of amazing players. They can beat us and we can beat them, it’s football.”
