City were back in Manchester for the first time since our training camp in Abu Dhabi, as manager Pep Guardiola and his players ramped up preparations for the return to domestic action.
The squad was also bolstered by the return of Kevin De Bruyne following his World Cup duties with Belgium at the Qatar showpiece.
The classy midfielder took part in his first full session after The Red Devils’ group stage exit, with Julian Alvarez now our only representation at the tournament.
City return to face Liverpool in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Thursday 22 December where we will be looking to take another step closer to an eighth League Cup success.
Following our meeting with the Anfield side, we then face Leeds on Wednesday 28 December as the second half of the Premier League season begins.
