Nico O’Reilly, who was forced off in the second-half of our win over Chelsea last weekend, is fit to face the Gunners – the side he scored twice against in last month’s Carabao Cup final.
O’Reilly has become an integral part of the City first team over the past year and this season had chipped in with nine goals in 46 appearances.
PEP GUARDIOLA: THE DECAdE COLLECTION
Speaking at his Friday press conference, the boss said Nico was “fine”, but added that Ruben Dias was “not ready”.
The Blues can move within three points of the long-time Premier League leaders with victory on Sunday, but Guardiola also pointed out that a loss could end our title hopes.
Asked if the Gunners clash was, in effect, a final, Pep said: “Yeah, obviously.
If we lose, yeah, it’s over. “But the other two results knowing Arsenal didn’t win against Bournemouth, still they have games to play.
Six games is a lot in our calendar. “Everton away, Bournemouth away, Aston Villa the last game at home, Palace of course and Brentford home.
“Crystal Palace what’s going on and Aston Villa in Europe, so still many things to do.”
