TACTICS/FORMATION
Our back four will see Walker and Gvardiol as full-backs with Stones and Dias in central defence.
Rodrigo will anchor a midfield trio that also includes Bernardo and Foden.
Up front, Grealish will likely start on the left, with Alvarez to the right and Haaland in the centre.
Of course, Alvarez could also play a more advanced midfield role with Bernardo on the right - but we will know more at kick-off!
HUGE GAME FOR BOTH CLUBS
At what will be an emotional Old Trafford following the sad passing of Sir Bobby Charlton, both Manchester clubs will be desperate to claim three points.
United have won their last three games - albeit somewhat unconvincingly - and need to keep in touch with the leading pack.
City, meanwhile, have seen Arsenal and Spurs move ahead in the title race and Guardiola will want to keep both North London clubs within touching distance.
The Blues have shown flashes of the form that took the Club to a Treble triumph last season - without slipping into top gear.
With games against Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all on the not-too-distant horizon for City, a strong performance and positive result at Old Trafford would be a huge boost going into November.

- City have won more Premier League away games against Manchester United than any other side (8), with seven of their eight wins at Old Trafford coming in their last 12 visits.
- Since the start of the 2011-12 season, City have won 13 of their 24 Premier League meetings with Manchester United (D3 L8), more than any other side in that time. Their previous 13 league wins over the Red Devils had come over a 62 game period between 1970 and 2011.
- This will be the ninth Premier League Manchester derby played immediately after both sides have had a UEFA Champions League group stage game. City have won five of their previous eight (D2 L1), with Manchester United’s only victory coming in December 2012 (3-2 at the Etihad).
- Manchester United have won their last two Premier League games, having lost four of their previous six (W2). All five of their league wins this season have been by a single goal, with four of those being won courtesy of a goal scored in the final 15 minutes.
- City have lost their last two Premier League away games. They last lost more consecutively on the road between March and July 2020, which included a 2-0 loss at Manchester United.
- Only Arsène Wenger (12) has ever won more Premier League games against Manchester United than City boss Pep Guardiola (7). Of all managers to have faced the Red Devils at least 10 times in the competition, Guardiola is the only one to have won at least 50% of his games against them (7/14).
- Bruno Fernandes has scored in his last two games against City – the last Man Utd player to score in three consecutive Manchester derbies in all competitions was Paul Scholes in the 2003-04
- Heading into MD10, no player has scored the opening goal in more different Premier League games this season than City’s Julián Álvarez. Three of his four strikes this term have been the opening goal in the match, while all four have also been City’s first goal in the game.
- Scott McTominay has scored three goals in his last two Premier League games, with these strikes being worth five points to Manchester United. It’s more goals than he’d netted in his previous 70 league games combined for the Red Devils (2).
