Marc Guéhi says it's up to City to keep the title race alive as the season enters an intense final few weeks.

Pep Guardiola’s side have just three matches left to play in the Premier League starting on Wednesday at 20:00 (UK) when we welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium.

The Blues currently sit five points behind league leaders Arsenal with a game in hand and victory in mid-week would see us close the gap to two ahead of the Gunners’ head-to-head with Burnley on Monday.

And Marc Guéhi said that we’re looking to keep the pressure on the North London side until the final game of the season.

“I didn’t watch the [Arsenal] game,” he said.

“No thoughts really.

“It’s over to us to try and keep it alive and take it to the last stage again.”

“Everyone’s different, everyone has their own way of dealing with things.

“I don’t really want to focus too much on what other people are doing.

“The most important thing we can do is focus on ourselves.

“Especially a football club like this, I think everyone is [putting pressure on themselves] the good thing is we’ve all got that same mentality.

“That’s the only way you can go on and achieve things and improve.

“It’s really good that everyone’s demanding of themselves as well as each other.”

The England international will also come face-to-face with his former club after making the move to City in January and said the game will be very special to him.

“It’s nice, it’ll be nice to see old team-mates and old staff members from the club that gave me so much,” Guéhi added.

“I’m truly grateful to them and wouldn’t be here without them, it’s a game of a lot of significance for me.”

Since relocating to Northern England, Guéhi has played alongside Abdukodir Khusanov and explained how he’s found the defensive pairings so far.

“It’s been great playing with him. He’s a top player, an even better guy.

“I’ve been learning a lot from every single person I’ve played with, Ruben [Dias] and Nathan [Ake] that I played with at the weekend, it’s been a joy to play with them and hopefully we can keep the stability at the back.”
