The German goalkeeper was in sparkling form as City secured a place in the fifth round with a 1-0 victory over the Gunners.
After beating Chelsea 4-0 in the third round, some might be hoping for an easier draw in the next round but Ortega Moreno enjoys being tested by the best sides.
“It’s better to play these teams rather than those who are in the second or third leagues,” he said.
“For me I don’t have so many games, so these types of games are perfect for me. I really enjoy these games.
“The cup has real history and for me it’s the way to get games so it’s really exciting.”
Nathan Ake’s second-half strike was the key moment with Pep Guardiola saying his side had to be patient to create opportunities because of the way the Gunners set up.
It also cut down the options for Ortega Moreno playing out from the back and the keeper said they had to work a way to get around the press.
“Arsenal tried to press man against man really high with speed, so it was difficult to find the right solution to play in the normal way we want to play,” he said.

“There was a lot of long balls, and it was quite difficult - the transition from Arsenal was really dangerous. I think in the end we deserved the win just a bit more.
“We played with more experience at the end and showed we had a bit more quality in the right situations.
“It was an FA Cup game which was important to win to get through to the next round but the next game against Arsenal will be a different game. It was a good way to show that we are here.
“The plan to play is from the manager and from us as well. When we can play long, we have a big striker so when teams press us like this it’s the easiest way to go in front of the goal. We have players who are really good and keep the ball.”
Ortega Moreno also had special praise for Ake and the way he kept his composure for the matchwinner.
“What an incredible right foot, I didn’t expect it!” he added.
“I was really happy for him because in the last few weeks he’s so played so good. He helped us a lot in this situation, and he deserves it.”
