Bobb, 20, has been a key part of City’s Premier League 2 domination in recent seasons.
This season he has stepped up to the first team in 2023/24 and already featured on seven occasions this season for Guardiola‘s side.
The attacking midfielder was a second-half substitute in Tuesday night’s Champions League win over BSC Young Boys.

That came just days after grabbing his first Premier League assist with a cross for Nathan Ake to cap off the 6-1 win over Bournemouth.
Having joined the Club in 2019, the attacking midfielder is already well versed in City’s style.
However, he says he’s learnt even more since working closely with Guardiola on a regular basis.
“He’s a perfectionist so we can always do better,” he said.
“You see a new way to play the game and everything seems so simple.”
Now he’s fighting for a place amongst a squad full of international stars - seven of which were named on the recent Ballon d’Or shortlist.
“It’s very good motivation. It’s the place where you want to be,” he said when asked how fighting for a place in the side has impacted him.
“It definitely motivates me.”
Bobb is part of a squad that completed an historic Treble last term.
Guardiola has often spoke of the need for young, hungry players to help motivate the experienced players in his squad.
The young Norway international is under no illusions just how tough it will be to replicate what City achieved last season.
“Every year the competition gets tougher and the teams get better,” says Bobb.
“At our best, we can dominate anyone but there are very good teams and we have to be prepared for it.
“After last year’s success, you have to keep on improving every year because you’re the team to beat.”
