The 20-year-old defender is yet to agree new terms to his current contract which expires this summer and has been linked with a move to several clubs across Europe.

Garcia made his first appearance after a month out for injury and illness in City’s 3-1 win over Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup fourth round and, afterwards, Guardiola admitted he thinks the Spaniard is set to depart.
“We will see what happens at the end of the transfer window,” said the City boss when asked if there was a chance Garcia could leave in January.
“I don’t think [he will sign a new contract].
“I am pretty sure he is going to leave at the end of the season and now, in this transfer window, it will depend on the [other] clubs.”
City survived a scare against League Two Cheltenham, who were leading heading into the final 10-minutes after Alfie May had fired them in front on the hour mark.
Guardiola had seen his side spurn several chances before Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres scored to set up a fifth-round tie with Swansea City, but the manager was not concerned by our failure to convert earlier opportunities.
Indeed, the Spaniard has been impressed with how his players handle facing lower ranked teams in cup competitions and was pleased with their professional approach against a side 72 places below them in the Football League.
“You want to finish, you want to score goals but sometimes it doesn’t happen,” he added.
“But when you create the chances, you are alive and you are there. We are so mature in these types of games in this type of competition.
“We play really well away to lower divisions. Take a look around Europe, where big clubs when they play just one of these games away you don’t know what can happen and especially in this weird season which is weird for everyone.
“Winning gives me a special feeling of happiness and gratitude to my players that they came here with such humility and played at the level that this type of game deserved to be played.”
