Guardiola‘s Premier League champions face our city rivals at Wembley at 15:00 (UK) in the first ever major final between the two Manchester clubs.
Having sealed the league title with three games to spare, the boss shuffled his pack for the meetings with Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford.
That included Ruben Dias and Jack Grealish sitting out all three games and Kevin De Bruyne playing just 69 minutes across those matches.
After a long, gruelling season that has also taken us to next week’s Champions League final, Guardiola says he expects most of his squad to be ready to play this weekend.
“They trained well last two sessions,” he said when asked about his squad in Friday’s press conference.
“They are all of them more or less fine.”
Guardiola also stated that fans can expect Stefan Ortega Moreno to start in the final.
The German has played in every domestic cup tie this season, having played understudy to Ederson for the majority of the Premier League and Champions League.
“He [Ortega Moreno] is going to play,” said Guardiola.
“I have always been like that in the FA Cup. At Barcelona and Bayern as well. The keeper who plays in the FA Cup is going to play.”
