City were utterly dominant, particularly in the first half, and could have scored more goals.
The win means we have now gone four games unbeaten in all competitions, with no goals conceded in that period.
Pep admitted afterwards his side were somewhat profligate in the final third against Fulham, but believes momentum is building after a stuttering start to our league campaign.
“Yeah [we could have scored more goals], but I see the positive things after the performances of the last three or four games,” he said.

“More positives than the opposite. I am delighted with the performance in Portugal, the chances we created were so good. Burnley had so few shots, today Fulham had one, Porto one.
“We will improve, we know it, but if we win the games, it’s enough.”
Meanwhile, Guardiola says he will make significant changes ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League Group C game against Marseille.
City are already confirmed as group winners having taken 13 points from our opening five matches.
And with the Manchester derby on the horizon next weekend, it’s a good opportunity for Pep to rest the players who played against Fulham.
“Yes, I wanted the guys to play 90 minutes and most of them are not going to play Wednesday and the guys who didn’t play today will play Wednesday,” he said.
“I decide to play 90 minutes with these guys and a fresh 90 minutes for the rest of the players. After that we will see the best selection for the next games.
“In the Champions League, we have done the job but we have prestige to play for, it’s a serious game and we will respect the competition - Marseille and Olympiakos are still playing for Europa League [qualification].
“After this game we will see about United and how we want to play.
“We want to be there until the end, wins games. To win the Premier League you have to win a lot of games.”
