Guardiola says his star striker will be assessed today on the eve of the Eagles game.
Haaland was absent from the Luton Town and Red Star games due to a ‘stress’ issue with his foot.
The boss is confident of jetting off to Saudi Arabia with him for the tournament that City will be competing in for the first time.
Updating on the forward’s condition, the manager said: “[He] arrived today and the doctors will see him and we will see how he feels.
“He has been for treatment away. Hopefully he can travel to Saudi tomorrow after the game.
“I think he is going to travel with us and after that we will see if he is able to play the first game or the second or when we come back.”

Asked specifically if he thinks the 23-year-old will make Saturday’s Barclays Premier League Matchweek 17 encounter, the boss continued: “I don’t think so. But maybe there will [be a] surprise and they tell me something new but I don’t think so.”
Haaland enjoyed a sensational 2022/23 debut campaign, netting 36 in the Premier League and 52 in all competitions, culminating in him being named Ballon d’Or Gerd Muller Trophy winner as well as scooping PFA, Premier League, FWA and UEFA Men’s Player of the Year.
Despite being absent from our last couple of fixtures, he’s not lost his scoring touch, leading the way in the top-flight with 14 goals across 2023/24, three ahead of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Guardiola stressed as he spoke to the media in his pre-match press conference that he’s not concerned about the fitness issue long-term.
“No. It’s not fractured, just stress,” the boss added.
“Sometimes players recover quicker or longer. The doctors say we have to take it day by day, week by week on how he feels.
“At the moment he doesn’t have symptoms or doesn’t feel pain, he will be available to play again.”
