“It is difficult on Wednesday against Real Madrid but at the same time let’s try it, let’s go to do it with our people together, whatever happens,” the boss said.
“Because they know we will give everything. Everything.
“There is not one minute where we will not do what we have to do to be a humble team, a solidarity team, to try to attack them. We believe we can do it with all our desire to do it.
“I want the Etihad full. Go there and let them feel just that we want to try it again and get to the semi-final.
“This is what we want to feel from our crowd and from ourselves from minute one to the end.”
After defeating Luton 5-1 on Saturday, attention now turns swiftly to Madrid on Wednesday.
Guardiola says he’s yet to assess the brilliant Bernabeu battle because he was so focused on the Hatters in the aftermath of that compelling draw.
Now the boss will start preparations for the decisive second leg on home soil on Wednesday, which kicks off at 20:00 (UK).
“I didn’t see it, not yet no,” the boss continued.
“I never do that as a manager. Always I had the feeling it’s a lack of respect for Luton.
“It’ll be tonight or tomorrow, I will review all the game and see if they surprise us with the positions of the players and I have to take a look.
“I think Carlo [Ancelotti], with his experience, can do something differently. We have to be prepared but at the same time impose our game and try to put pressure through our game onto the opponent.”

Guardiola’s Treble winners are clearly in the fight for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup once again after winning that Treble of trophies across 2022/23.
The boss senses his players are eager for more silverware this season.
And while he can’t know for sure if we will emerge victorious in these elite competitions, he knows his players will be giving it everything they have in the closing weeks of the campaign.
“They like to play with the pressure. They like to know - dead or alive?” the manager added.
“That doesn’t mean we are going to do it. But that we will be there till the end? I am pretty sure.
“Because I know them. I see the faces before the games in the meetings. How they prepare.
“That means win Premier League, Champions League? No. I am not saying that. But that we will compete? That’s for sure.”
