Pep Guardiola has been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month award for August.

One of a quartet of Premier League bosses up for the first managerial prize of the campaign, Guardiola’s stats are the most impressive in all categories.

The Catalan has guided City to the top of the table with three wins out of three, as well as seeing his team score more goals than any other club during an impressive start to the season.

Pep is up against his former assistant Mikel Arteta, who has seen his Arsenal side take seven out of a possible nine points in August.

Liverpool’s Arne Slot is the only other manager in the topflight to have enjoyed a 100% start to 2024/25 – but for August, only two victories are counted as the 3-0 victory over Manchester United last Sunday will count towards the September vote.

Finally, Brighton’s new boss Fabian Hürzeler has also been nominated.

The Seagulls have made a bright start under the young German, beating Everton and Manchester United before holding Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.

You can vote for Pep below, and the winner will be announced at noon (UK) on Friday 13 September.
