De Bruyne has been sidelined for the past month after being forced off with a groin injury in our Champions League clash with Internazionale.
Ake meanwhile has been absent since sustaining a hamstring injury in September whilst on international duty with the Netherlands.
Addressing the media at Friday’s pre-match press conference the City boss provided the latest news on the duo as well providing a further update on the availability on the rest of his squad.
“I don’t think so. No. Not ready,” Pep revealed.
“They are training and in the last part and yesterday Nathan did his first training with the team. Maybe can travel but to start is not ready.
“Some of the Brazilians. Manu [had an issue after the international break].
“Tomorrow we will see how they feel.
“Tomorrow we will know exactly.”
City will travel to Molineux for our first game after the October international break seeking to extend our unbeaten start to the campaign.
The reigning champions currently lie in second place in the table, just a point behind Liverpool.
Wolves on the other hand have endured a tough start to the season with Gary O’Neil’s side bottom with just a single point to their name.
Guardiola however is anticipating the toughest possible test in the Black Country.
“They got less points than they deserve, it’s what I can see,” the City boss added.
“Always have been tough with Wolves since Nuno Espirito Santo was the manager.
“All the time they have been exceptional.”
