Raheem Sterling reached another significant career milestone when he netted his 100th Premier League goal in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Wolves.

The City winger is the 32nd inductee into the Premier League’s ‘100 club’, becoming the eighth youngest to do so at just 27 years and three days.

The accomplishment is just rewards for Sterling, who under Pep Guardiola’s guidance has become one of English football’s most dangerous and potent attacking threats.

And that reputation is reinforced when breaking down the numbers behind his Premier League century.

Indeed, in 209 appearances for City in the English top flight, Sterling has grabbed 82 goals and 31 assists.

Sterling’s winner from the spot against Wolves was only the second time he’s scored a Premier League penalty. An astonishing 97 of his 100 goals have come from open play.

One fifth of his strikes have come between the 76th and 90th minute of a game, further demonstrating that Sterling regularly steps up at crucial moments for City.

Statistically, the 27-year-old’s favourite Premier League opponents are Bournemouth and Watford, who he has scored nine goals apiece against in 17 games respectively, while Kevin De Bruyne has provided the most assists for Sterling with 14.
