SUSPENSIONS

Carlo Ancelotti also has no suspensions for the game, but Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Vinicius Junior will need to tread carefully as they are all one booking away from missing the return leg.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last trip to the Bernabeu came in last season’s Champions League campaign at the semi-final first leg stage.

Vinicius Junior’s first-half strike opened the scoring for the hosts after City had the better of the early running.

However, Kevin De Bruyne stepped up with a piledriver of his own to level the scores on the night and lift the spirits of our outstanding travelling support.

We then met in the return leg at the Etihad, where Guardiola’s side completed an incredible 4-0 win in a pulsating encounter to complete a 5-1 aggregate victory.

LAST TIME OUT

In our last game in the Champions League, we completed a 6-2 aggregate success over FC Copenhagen with a 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium, thanks to goals from Julian Alvarez, Manual Akanji and Erling Haaland.

In league terms, Kevin De Bruyne notched up 100 goals in blue as his beautiful brace helped City to a 4-2 victory at Crystal Palace last Saturday.

KDB produced a rocket to cancel out Jean-Philippe Mateta’s early opener for the hosts as we went in level at the break.

Rico Lewis put us ahead shortly after the restart before Erling Haaland marked his return to the team with a close-range finish following a clever cut-back by De Bruyne.

The brilliant Belgian notched up his century with a stunning left-foot drive to spark joyous scenes among the visitors.

As for Real Madrid, their last fixture was on 31st March, running out 2-0 victors over Athletic Club in the La Liga thanks to a brace from Rodrygo.
