City stormed to victory in the Premier League, beating Bournemouth 6-1 at the Etihad.
Jeremy Doku put in a stunning performance, clocking up five goal involvements as the Cherries were picked off.
And the squad were back at the City Football Academy the following day with a return to European football on the horizon this coming week.
City have earned 3-1 wins in all three of our UCL Group G games to date – defeating Red Star Belgrade, RB Leipzig and Young Boys by that scoreline.
We’d be very happy with the same again as Young Boys arrive for the return tie on Tuesday, kick-off 20:00 (UK), as we eye qualification through to the knockout stages of the competition.
There was a great buzz at Training HQ this afternoon after the weekend win and we’ll be looking for another three points as the Swiss club arrive in Manchester soon.
