Manchester City trained at the City Football Academy on Tuesday afternoon as preparations began for Sunday’s trip to Newcastle United.

The defending champions visit St James’ Park for a 16:30 (UK) kick-off on Sunday 21 August, when we’ll be looking to maintain our 100% start to the 2022/23 season.

Pep Guardiola‘s men cruised to a 4-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday, and now turn their attentions towards this weekend’s clash in the North East.
