Manchester City were back out on the training ground the morning after our comfortable win away at Newcastle United.
Pep Guardiola’s men cruised to a 4-0 victory at St James’ Park to open up a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League table and the hard work continued at the City Football Academy (CFA) on Monday.
City’s attentions now turn to Leicester City, which kicks off a busy festive fixture schedule that sees the defending champions play three times in a week.
Guardiola’s side have five days to prepare for the Foxes visit to the Etihad Stadium on Boxing Day, when we will be looking to record a ninth successive win in the league.
