Manchester City’s men’s first team squad were back on familiar ground as they trained at the City Football Academy on Tuesday afternoon.
After a week away for our pre-season tour of the United States Pep Guardiola’s men were back on home soil to begin preparing for Saturday’s Community Shield clash with Liverpool at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.
The defending Premier League champions have four days to prepare for annual curtain raiser, which we last won in 2019, defeating Jurgen Klopp’s men 5-4 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 in normal time.
