PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW
On whether Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake will play: “I don’t think so. Not ready. They are training and in the last part and yesterday Nathan did his first training with the team. Maybe can travel but to start is not ready. Some of the Brazilians. Manu. Today was day off and tomorrow we will see how they feel. Tomorrow we will know exactly.”
On Wolves so far this season: “They got less points than they deserve. It’s what I can see after watching them during the international break. Always have been tough with Wolves since Nuno Espirito Santo was manager. All the time they have been exceptional.”
Team news
City make three changes for Sunday’s return to Premier League action away at Wolves.
From the side that began our 3-2 win over Fulham 15 days ago, John Stones, Jeremy Doku and Savinho all come into the starting line-up.
Manuel Akanji, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish all revert to the bench.
Nathan Ake, out since September with a hamstring injury, makes a welcome return to the matchday squad and is also named amongst the substitutes
However, Kevin De Bruyne, who has been sidelined for the past month with a groin issue, remains unavailable for selection this afternoon.
Kyle Walker also misses out on the trip to the Midlands as the City skipper is not fully fit.
Teams
WOLVES: Sa, Semedo, Dawson, Bueno, Toti, Ait-Nouri, J. Gomes, Andre, Lemina, Cunha, Strand Larsen
Subs: Bentley, Doherty, R. Gomes, Doyle, Sarabia, Forbs, Bellegarde, Guedes, Lima
CITY XI: Ederson, Lewis, Stones, Dias (c), Gvardiol, Kovacic, Gundogan, Bernardo, Savinho, Doku, Haaland

PREVIOUS MEETING
Our last trip to Molineux ended in a 2-1 defeat.
A Ruben Dias own goal gave the hosts the lead before Julian Alvarez curled home a superb free-kick to level the scores.
Hee-Chan Hwang scored the winner for Wolves, ending the Blues’ perfect Premier League start.
Last time out
City went into the international break with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Fulham.
The visitors struck first through Andreas Pereira before Mateo Kovacic goals either side of the break gave the Blues 2-1 lead.
In an open and entertaining clash, Jeremy Doku looked to have sealed victory with a stunning strike on 83, but the Cottagers ensured a nervy finish when Rodrigo Muniz pulled one back on 88 minutes.

Wolves went into the break on the back of a 5-3 defeat at Brentford.
That loss leaves Gary O’Neil’s side bottom of the Premier League with one point from their first seven games.
