The City winger was on target twice in the space of seven minutes early in the second half to set the Matildas on their way to a dominant victory in Gosford.
She was joined in the starting XI by Club team-mate Mary Fowler, who played an important role in the game’s opening goal when linking up with Sam Kerr just inside the Czech half.
The Chelsea forward found Raso out on the right flank and her deflected effort squeezed in at the near post to hand Australia the advantage.
And the City winger would double her personal tally soon after when she showed quick reactions from a corner to nod home from inside the six-yard box.
It was the spark that the Matildas needed, and they would cruise to victory in their first match of 2023; a year which sees them host the latest edition of the Women’s World Cup this summer.
Kerr would pounce on a loose ball to add number three with 20 to play, but Raso’s standout display would continue late on when she teed up Australia captain Clare Polkinghorne for the final strike of the game.
The goal was particularly special for Polkinghorne, who was celebrating her 152nd international cap – a new Australian record.
Raso, Fowler and Alanna Kennedy – who was an unused substitute in Gosford – are back in action Sunday 19 February when they lock horns with Spain at 07:00 (UK).
Elsewhere, Julie Blakstad helped Norway to victory in their opening Tournoi de France match.
Karina Saevik’s strike just before the half hour would prove the difference against a resilient Uruguay side, with the City winger introduced for the final 30 minutes.
The Norwegians face Denmark in their next encounter on Saturday 18 February, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 (UK).
