The England striker joined the Club from Everton earlier this month and is currently hard at work in pre-season training alongside her new colleagues.
Kelly has moved to City armed with an exciting reputation for being one of the country’s most talented young forwards.
And though there will be greater scrutiny and expectation on her once the new campaign kicks off, the 22-year-old believes that will only help bring the best out of her.

“There’s a little bit of pressure but it’s always a good thing,” the striker revealed during last Sunday’s We’re Not Really Here live matchday show prior to City’s clash with Norwich.
“I enjoy having pressure. It’s a good thing.
“It makes you go out and work hard to do well for the Club and for yourself.
“You want to show what you’re capable of.
“It’s a great Club to be at and I’m excited to get out on the pitch with the girls and make my debut for the team.”
Reflecting on here first few weeks of pre-season training, Kelly said she had received a warm welcome from everyone at the Club.
And she revealed that training and learning alongside so many world class players had only increased her excitement ahead of the new season.

“I’m with the team and it’s been great. I’ve fitted in with the group – they’re a very easy group to be with,” Kelly revealed.
“There’s a mix of young and experienced players and I’ve had a warm welcome.
“It was a massive part of the decision of mine to come and learn with so many England internationals and young players, who have come through and set the standard.
“It’s great to see how far they’ve come since coming to City. I’m going to train with the best players day in, day out and it will be easier to fit in at England camps as well.
“It’s a massive reason why I came to City – the big players and the young players.”
The 22-year-old has joined City armed with a reputation not only for her prolific form– she netted nine goals in 12 appearances during the 2019/20 campaign– but also the spectacular nature of several of those spectacular long-range strikes.
And Kelly says she has set her sights on more potential Goal of the Season contenders in City blue.

“I’m definitely up for the Goal of the Season challenge!” Chloe asserted.
“There are a lot of players who can score from outside the box – Caroline Weir, Georgia Stanway…
“Hopefully, I’ll score a few too. I like to mix it up – I can dribble one-on-one but I’ve also got a strike in me as well!
“Hopefully, I’ll score many goals in a City shirt.”
