It meant that City’s first home match of the season was a 4-0 triumph over Leicester City on Sunday 16 October, with that victory beginning a ten-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

That purple patch has also stretched across seven WSL fixture but, against an Arsenal side who have tasted defeat just once in 2022/23, our clash with the Gunners promises to be a captivating encounter.

And it will be witnessed by a crowd befitting the occasion, with our most recent sell-out before Arsenal’s visit coming in our 1-0 victory over Manchester United in February 2022.

Tickets are also selling fast for our first home match of 2023 against Aston Villa.

Gareth Taylor‘s side welcome the Villans to the Academy Stadium on Saturday 21 January, with kick-off scheduled for 11:30 (UK).
