Our Matchday Centre will be providing you with all the pre-match coverage, statistics and analysis from 13:00 (UK).

During the game, you can tune into live audio commentary from Nick Walsh and Karen Bardsley at the Etihad Stadium, with live text updates also available. Make sure you have push notifications turned on to receive team news, key moments, goal updates and red cards via our app.

Following the final whistle, a detailed match report, plus reactions from both Interim Head Coach Nick Cushing and the players will also be available to view.

Highlights from the game, as well as a full-match replay will be available on CITY+ at 12:00 (UK) on Monday.

Matchday Live

There will also be a special Matchday Live show for our WSL clash with Chelsea, featuring special guests Toni Duggan and Jen Beattie.

Duggan and Beattie made a combined total of just under 200 appearances for the Club in our early years as a professional side, winning every available domestic honour in the process.

As part of that, the former City duo were key to our 2016 double-winning team which went unbeaten across the entire campaign.

They’ll be back at the Etihad Stadium around one hour before kick-off to offer their expert insight and share some memorable stories from their time at the Club, before a half-time debrief and detailed post-match analysis.

As always, Matchday Live is available on all our digital platforms and offers a unique City-centric flavour to your match build-up with plenty of interesting analysis and laughs along the way.

Event information

As always, there’s plenty of action off the pitch as well as on it to keep you entertained throughout the day.

Our Blue Carpet experience gets under way from 12:30 (UK) with incredible prizes up for grabs while you to watch both teams arrive at the Etihad.

Stadium gates will open at 13:00, with the team news then announced 30 minutes later before the warm-ups take place.

Then, from 14:00, you can also put your City knowledge to the test by taking part in our Mega Quiz before the action on the pitch commences.

      Last time out

City battled to a 2-0 UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final triumph over Chelsea at the Joie Stadium.

Vivianne Miedema was the Blues’ hero, coming off the bench at half-time to grab a brace and hand Nick Cushing’s side an advantage heading into next Thursday’s second leg at Stamford Bridge.

It was Chelsea’s first defeat in 31 matches in all competitions, a run stretching back to May, earning our Interim Head Coach his first win since returning to the Club in the process.
