When and where
Gareth Taylor’s side host the Toffees on Wednesday 7 October at 7pm BST at the Academy Stadium.
The encounter marks our opening game of Group C, with fellow challengers Liverpool and Manchester United locking horns earlier in the day at Prenton Park.

Chloe Kelly enhanced her reputation as a scorer of stunning goals with an outstanding opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 22-year-old netted a brace - her second and third goals for the Club - with a sensational arrowing effort from range and a well-taken penalty, as City returned to winning ways in the FA Women’s Super League with a superb 4-1 victory.
Sam Mewis also bagged her second goal in as many games, curling home expertly, before Ellen White opened her account for the season to wrap up the points at the Academy Stadium.
Spurs grabbed a late consolation as Anna Filbey headed in a corner but it did little to dampen City’s spirits, as the FA Cup Finalists produced a ruthless second performance, hitting form and building momentum at a crucial time in the midst of a crunch period of fixtures.
Last meeting
The pair met in pre-season with Sam Mewis netting her first goal for the Club - and claiming two assists - one day after her first training session!
In terms of competitive action, the two sides last locked horns in the FA Women’s Super League, as Pauline Bremer continued her rampant goalscoring streak in a 3-1 victory.
The German netted her 14th and 15th goals of the season with Gemma Bonner also on the scoresheet on a night of torrid weather conditions, as the home side clinched a vital win to extend our impressive 100% record against the Toffees with our 12th success.
The triumph marked a positive end to an emotional week, which brought the news of manager Nick Cushing’s departure for a new challenge with New York City FC.
