Jeglertz’s Preview
Speaking to the media on Thursday afternoon Jeglertz confirmed that Grace Clinton would not be involved against Spurs.
The City boss explained that she hasn’t been able to train with the team this week, and didn’t put an exact timeframe on her return.
“No, she won’t be involved. She’s still not training with team. We’re taking it week by week but she’s not ready.
“[It’s a] Lower body injury. We are assessing from week to week.
“It’s difficult to say how far [away she is], it depends on how she is doing. Hopefully we see her soon back on field but can’t say more than that.”
Events
Saturday’s clash is our City in the Community Matchday Takeover, with plenty of additional activities and prizes up for grabs.

Opposing manager: Martin Ho
Martin Ho was appointed as Spurs head coach in July 2025 and has enjoyed a fruitful first season managing in the WSL.
Ho was born in Liverpool, but made a name for himself in management during his time over in Norway with SK Brann, where he made history.
The Englishman helped Brann become the first Norwegian side to reach the group stages of the UEFA Women’s Champions League back in 2023, just six months into his tenure with the club.
In his first time as a manager in England, after being a coach with Everton and Manchester United, Ho has his Spurs side sitting fifth in the WSL and just four points off the top three.
Previous Meeting
We ran out 5-1 victors last time out against Spurs, with a dominant away performance seeing us pick up all three points.
It was a dream evening for Grace Clinton back in September, with the former Tottenham loanee grabbing a goal and assist on her City debut.
Further strikes from Aoba Fujino, Vivianne Miedema, Kerstin Casparij and Laura Coombs rounded off a five-star performance.
Last Time Out
City were held to a goalless draw at Aston Villa in our first match since the international break.
The Blues were on the back foot for most of the first 45, with Khiara Keating pulling off several fine saves while Chastity Grant also struck the post.
City recovered to finish the stronger of the two sides, but couldn’t quite break down a resolute Villa side to turn one point into three.
TV Listings
The match will be available to watch in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports Football, and further broadcasting details from around the world can be found via livesoccertv.
(Listings correct as of Friday 20 March).
