The lively winger produced two quick-fire assists in the second-half, setting up Bethany England in the 72nd minute, before linking with Beth Mead two minutes later to propel England to a comfortable victory.
Ellen White and Alex Greenwood also started the encounter, with City’s Keira Walsh also playing her part after being introduced from the bench for the second half.
White was a contact nuisance for the visitors’ backline, hassling and pressing them high up the pitch throughout the encounter.
Mead broke the deadlock in the second half shortly after coming on as substitute, finishing a loose ball into the net in spectacular fashion. She went on to score two more as England maintained their great form under new manager Sarina Wiegman.
Another substitute, England, grabbed the fourth as they ruthlessly saw off Northern Ireland in the second half.
Janine Beckie also had reason to celebrate as she helped Canada to a 5-1 friendly win over New Zealand.
The 27-year-old provided the assist for Adriana Leon to net the fourth goal as Bev Priestman’s side cruised to victory in their first game in front of a home crowd since winning Olympic gold this summer.
Beckie started the game at right-back and completed the full 90-minutes at the TD Place Stadium in the Canadian capital of Ottawa.
It was a dominant display from the hosts, who raced into a two goal lead by half-time thanks to Jessie Fleming’s penalty and Christine Sinclair’s lofted effort.
Nichelle Prince added a third before Beckie cut back for Leon to fire home and the West Ham forward completed the scoring eight minutes from time to wrap up a dominant victory.
