The winger, who first won the award in 2018 following a fine breakthrough season with Bristol City, has reclaimed the trophy from 2019 winner and teammate Georgia Stanway.
Aged just 20, Hemp enjoyed a superb 2019/20 campaign for Club and country, as one of City and England’s brightest stars and most influential attacking outlets.
Since joining the Club two years ago, the forward has clocked 44 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing a pivotal contribution from the flank with her exceptional pace and trickery.
In recognition of her outstanding 2019/20 campaign, she was named City’s QNET Rising Star in the Club’s End of Season Awards, and earned the MCWFC Official Supporters’ Club’s Player of the Season gong in addition to a nomination for the FA WSL’s own edition.

Despite her youth, she has been tipped to achieve great things, having already shone on the big stage with a goal in the 2019 FA Women’s Cup Final, plus crucial strikes in FA Women’s Super League heavyweight clashes with Arsenal and Chelsea.
After impressing at youth level and as a training player in a series of senior camps, the 2017 England Young Player of the Year was handed her Lionesses debut in October 2019.
She has represented her country on five occasions since.
Reflecting on her latest achievement, Hemp expressed her delight, crediting her success to the efforts, advice and inspiration of those around her.
“It’s really nice – I’m really pleased,” she said.
“It’s nice that other people in teams are recognising me and thinking I’ve done well in games over the season, even when they’re concentrating on their own game.

“It’s one of the best accolades you can get: recognition from other teams and players.
“I have to thank all of my coaches, especially Nick Cushing and Alan Mahon last season, and if It were not for my teammates, I would not be able to do what I do every week.
“People keep telling me: ‘Keep doing what you’re doing.’ They’ve given me the confidence to be myself and play how I want to play, and enjoy myself. Credit to them.
“I’ve loved every game since I arrived here. Personally, I feel I’m more mature – I’ve grown up a bit – and I’ve gained confidence throughout the years.
“I’m excited to see what the season can bring with the players and staff we have around us.”
