Elsewhere, Leila Ouahabi and Laia Aleixandri started for Spain as they fought back from two-goals down to beat Denmark 3-2.
Janni Thomasen opened the scoring in the fourth minute – an advantage Andre Jeglertz’s side held until the interval with Aleixandri being replaced by Teresa Abelleira Duenas in first-half stoppage time.
The visitors then doubled their advantage through Thomasen, but Irene Paredes halved the deficit almost immediately for Spain.
And the equaliser soon arrived thanks to the Barcelona defender’s second of the evening before Lucia Garcia scored on the cusp of full-time to complete the epic comeback.
It means Spain extended their winning streak to seven consecutive matches in all competitions.
